For some time we have been hearing about proposals for garden village communities. Now the public will have an opportunity to find out more and have their say about the proposals. The North Essex Garden Village proposals appeared on the agenda at the BDC Local Plan Sub committee on Monday 6 November. The Noth Essex Garden Communities proposals include three new garden communities across North Essex. One, known locally as West Tey straddles the Colchester and Braintree district borders.
The ‘Issues and Options Consultation’ begins on Monday 13th November 2017 and continues until 5pm on Monday 22nd January 2018.
